一、where was后面加主语还是宾语？
加主语.
例子 ：

定语从句中where 不能做主语，它在从句中只能做地点状语。如：This is the first place where we met for the first time。(where 在从句中表示met 的地点)另外还有when，why，whose 也不能在从句中作主语。
where是关系副词，是不可以作主语的，只能作状语。in which相当于where，where是不能作主语的，只能作状语，which是可以作主语的。
二、where后面加什么？
后面加 is， are， was， were。

Where was she yesterday？
Where were you last week？
三、where were you born 和where was you born？
这两个句子中的where was you born?是错误的句子，句子中不能用was.只能用were.它的中文意思是你出生于哪里？它回答是:I was born in Shanghai.be bron的后面可以是地点或者是时间。
For example:I was born in1990.They were born in China.She was born in Japan.
四、where was it going的句子成分？
这个特殊疑问句的句子成分是这样的：
第三人称主格代词it是句子的主语；助动词be的过去式was＋动词go的现在分词going是谓语；疑问副词where是谓语的目的状语？
本句是个由be going to的过去式形成的过去将来时。由于目的状语where是副词，所以就去掉了介词to.

问的是过去的“制造”地点，至于现在是否还在那个地方制作，就不知道了。
