翻译指的是在准确、通顺的基础上,把一种语言信息转变成另一种语言信息的行为。
以英语翻译为例,并不是学过一点英语,懂得一点语法,靠查字典就可以做翻译的。
因为对于一个词而言,它在字典中的释义只是孤立的基本词义,一旦放在言语之中则是千变万化的。
所以在翻译的时候,要最大限度地依赖于语境而不是孤立的词语。
