步骤/方法
这两个动词短语虽都意为“充满，装满”，但含意并不相同，不能互换。
full of 中的 full 为形容词，意为「满的」，但 full of 的含意是 having or containing a lot of things or people （含有很多人或事物），只体现“多”，不意味着“装满”，比如：
The room is full of books.
表示“这个房间都是书”，但不意味着房间里除了书就没别的空间了。
再来看 filled with，表示“被塞得满满当当的”，暗指“不留有任何空间了”。请体会：
The room is filled with books.
表示“这个房间塞满了书”，暗含“这个房间没有其他任何东西，而且书籍从地板叠到天花板，整个房间都堆满书”，但事实上不可能达到这种状态。
所以当你想表示“房间里堆满了书”（但还是能走进去人），那么正确表达应是：
The room is full of books.
在举个例子，“这家餐厅总是门庭若市”，翻译：
The restaurant is always full of customers. (正)
The restaurant is always filled with customers. (误)
另外，“这篇文章都是语法错误”：
The essay is full of grammatical errors. (正)
The essay is filled with grammatical errors.（误）
再给
出一个“filled with”的正确例句吧：
Her eyes are filled with tears.
她热泪盈眶。
当一个人“热泪盈眶”时，眼睛里真的都是眼泪，眼泪充满了整个眼眶，所以用 filled with。
但是这里用 full of 对不对？语法上也是对的，因为 Her eyes are full of tears强调了“多”，但不强调“充满”。
